Premium long grain
1121 Basmati
The longest commercially traded grain, 8mm and above before cooking. Supplied raw, steam or sella. The grade most Gulf and West African buyers specify by name.
Traditional
Classic Basmati
Traditional basmati with the shorter, fuller grain and stronger aroma. Preferred where cooked texture matters more than length.
Everyday
Premium Grade Basmati
A commercial grade for volume buyers and repackers who need basmati character at a working price.
Processing
Raw, steam or sella
Raw
Untreated
Milled without parboiling. The whitest grain and the most delicate — handled carefully in transit.
Steam
Steamed
Steam-treated before milling. Firmer grain, less breakage in cooking, whiter than sella.
Sella
Parboiled
Golden sella. Parboiled in the husk, the hardest grain of the three and the one that separates best when cooked in volume — the caterer's choice.

How we trade
Terms and documentation
Terms
Commercial
FOB, CFR and CIF. Payment against L/C at sight, cash against documents, or terms agreed with established buyers.
Papers
Documentation
Invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, phytosanitary certificate, fumigation certificate and inspection reports as required by your port.
Loading
Shipment
Loaded ex-India or ex-Dubai depending on the contract. 20–25 MT per 40ft container. Shipment period agreed at contract.
